Pedestrian accidents typically rise during the autumn season. Darkness arrives earlier, and the angle ofthe sun during dusk hours changes making it very difficult for drivers to see pedestrians crossing theroad. During dark lighting conditions, pedestrians are able to see motor vehicles approaching atdistances well over 500 feet. Due to the decreased lighting conditions, drivers may not be able to seepedestrians at a distance not much greater than 75 feet away. For safety
